Ahead of an expedition to Everest Base Camp in November 2022, I joined the group for several training weekends around the UK. Half of the group have a visual impairment and these activities were to help the sighted participants understand the navigational difficulties their peers might experience and how to work together as a team to ensure everyone succeeded.
